Sewer Lift Station

This project was under contract with Floyd Johnston Construction and the City of Bakersfiled California. This was Mr. Francisco Curiel first project with Floyd Johnston Construction as the project manager. The sewer lift station was 60‘x80‘x55’ deep and was all poured in place concrete. The lift station consisted of a 60” PVC lined RCP coming into the lift station wet well. The wet well was all lined with PVC lining which protects the concrete from deteriorating from the sewers fumes. From the wet well, there is five pumps which alternate one at a time and pumps the sewage 15’ from a 24” steel coated pipe to a 36” steel coated pipe force main.
