As a life time student, Francisco has had the opportunity to learn various things throughout his life. After graduating from Southwest High School in El Centro California, Francisco continued his education studying architecture at Woodbury University in Burbank & San Diego California. During architecture school, he had the opportunity to work for a local architect named Kenton Hems (Design Strategies/HMC Group) in Calexico California.
While working for Mr. Hems, Francisco felt that it was time to move on to another venture. He left HMC Group and began working for EMJ Corporation. EMJ Corporation is a general contractor from Chattanooga Tennessee. While working for EMJ, he was the Project Expeditor while the Imperial Valley Mall was under construction. Franciscos job duties there was to review all shop drawings and submittals and submit them to the architect.
Currently, he has been working for Floyd Johnston Construction. Floyd Johnston Construction is a civil engineering, they specialize in Cast-In-Place Concrete Pipe which is pipe that can be poured monolithically in long sections. At Floyd Johnston Construction, he began as a laborer then moved on as a foreman and then to project manager.
At this time Francisco has a General B Contractors License in the State of California.
